Fantasy Football ADP Risers & Fallers: Deebo Samuel and Stefon Diggs Skyrocket

Another week of NFL training camps is in the books, and we even had our first taste of game action with the Hall of Fame Game. The Panthers got past the Cardinals in a really exciting contest, where two rookie quarterbacks over-delivered in their first NFL contests.

That said, the reality is that most of the players who actually saw the field in that game won’t be relevant for fantasy purposes this year. The vast majority of starters won’t see a ton of action in the preseason. For more information on those players, we’ll have to dig into some of the training camp reports, which our crew has been recapping daily.

Those news nuggets have undoubtedly had an impact on fantasy drafts, which has been reflected in the fantasy football ADP data. Let’s dive into three of the biggest risers and fallers from over the past seven days on Underdog.

Risers in Fantasy Football ADP

Stefon Diggs | WR | WAS (+22.7 spots)

One of the biggest remaining names in free agency officially came off the board this week. Diggs landed with the Commanders, filling a big hole at the team’s WR2 spot. He should immediately slot into that role, giving Jayden Daniels another option to complement Terry McLaurin.

The big question is how much does Diggs have left in the tank? He’ll turn 33 years old this season, which is pretty ancient by NFL WR standards. He was impressive at times last year with the Patriots, but they were very cautious with his snaps. He had just a 71% route participation (including playoffs), though he was typically featured when on the field. Diggs was targeted on 22% of his routes run, which he parlayed into a WR18 finish in 0.5-PPR scoring.

Ultimately, it’s hard to imagine a much better landing spot for Diggs. He has a clear path to playing time, and he should continue to shoot up the ADP board before the start of the season. He’s up to WR46 in our consensus fantasy football rankings, with Zain Dhanani ranking him as high as WR32. There’s still plenty of room for his price to come up.

Deebo Samuel | WR | SF (+21.3 spots)

Samuel was acquired by the 49ers last week, and he was one of the biggest risers in that time frame. He took another big jump this week, and he’s another very intriguing veteran option at the position. Someone (wink wink) even went out on a limb by saying he has WR1 upside for fantasy purposes.

While that’s obviously an aggressive stance, Samuel doesn’t need to finish as a WR1 to pay off his current ADP. Even after another big bump this week, he’s still coming off the board on average at pick No. 138 on Underdog. That’s good for a price tag of WR57.

Samuel is obviously extremely familiar with Kyle Shanahan’s offensive system, and with seemingly every pass catcher in San Francisco banged up, he could have an opening to make an impact right out of the gates.

Jaydon Blue | RB | DAL (+17.7 spots)

Blue is coming off a disastrous rookie season, but the drumbeat has been steadily building heading into his second year. He reportedly had an impressive offseason, and he has continued to shine during training camp.

Specifically, the coaching staff has talked up Blue’s potential to make an impact in the passing game. That should be music to fantasy players’ ears. RBs who catch passes have the potential to have plenty of value, even if they don’t have a ton of rushing production to back it up.

Blue has reportedly gotten in plenty of work with the starters during training camp, and he continues to climb up the RB ranks. He could have some standalone value, and at a minimum, he looks like a solid handcuff should something happen to Javonte Williams.

Fallers in Fantasy Football ADP

Kenyon Sadiq | TE | NYJ (-6.4 spots)

Sadiq has reportedly had a setback in his recovery from hernia surgery, which is going to keep him sidelined for a few weeks. That’s not ideal for a rookie who is looking to play his way onto the field. He’s currently behind Mason Taylor on the Jets’ depth chart, and if he’s unable to practice, it’s going to impact his early-season production.

Sadiq is still an extremely talented pass catcher, and the Jets don’t have a ton of those at the moment. Even if he is limited to start the year, he still has a chance at a late-season breakout. Still, he’s becoming tougher and tougher to trust as a TE sleeper at a position that is much deeper than usual.

Oronde Gadsden | TE | LAC (-6.3 spots)

Speaking of tight ends, Gadsden is an interesting breakout candidate in his second season. He showed some flashes as a rookie, and the Chargers’ pass catchers all got great news earlier this week. The team is reportedly not looking to bring in another receiver before the start of the year, so all of Keenan Allen’s team-high 122 targets from last season are up for grabs.

Unfortunately, Gadsden does have one big problem ahead of him: David Njoku. The team brought him during the offseason, and he will undoubtedly cut into Gadsden’s workload. Unless the team goes with a much larger percentage of two-TE sets, it’s going to be tough for Gadsden to be an every-down player. He’s down to TE20 in terms of Underdog ADP.

Sean Tucker | RB | TB (-6.2 spots)

Tucker has had some moments when given an opportunity. He’s had two career games with 14+ carries, and he’s gone for at least 100 yards and a touchdown in both of them.

That said, Tucker’s production dipped to just 3.7 yards per carry in 2025-26. It’s hard to imagine him getting a ton of chances in Tampa Bay barring significant injury, with both Bucky Irving and Kenneth Gainwell clearly ahead of him on the depth chart. We have Tucker at RB57 in our consensus ranks, and there are more interesting guys to take a flyer on late in drafts.
